More About Tani Godfrey

Tani Godfrey up in the Pensacola area and graduated from the University of West Florida with a degree in psychology and a minor in math.  During high school and college, she was a waitress in her cousin’s  seafood restaurant (the Marina Oyster Barn). That one job taught her a lot about how to be attentive, industrious and patient.

She moved away from Pensacola after college and lived in Dallas, Chicago and Atlanta for 19 years.  In Dallas, she was an accountant for ten years for an advertising agency. She moved back to this area in 1999, in order to be near her parents again.

 She enjoys playing golf (when time permits), sports, playing the piano and singing in two church services. She is also a deacon and a youth camp counselor. Each year, she organizes and runs a major fund raiser for her church.  She is a single mom with two daughters and believes that real estate

allows her to balance her time between both. One of her daughters plays varsity softball and the other is in the Pensacola Children's Chorus.   

Tani has been selling real estate for seven years. Most of her business is on Pensacola Beach, but she also sells property in Pensacola, Gulf Breeze, Navarre, Pace, Milton and Perdido. Her philosophy is to treat people the way that she would want to be treated. She thoroughly enjoys the whole contract procedure and does her best to keep her clients informed during the entire process. She believes that knowledge is power.  Knowing what things are most important to each buyer and seller is the only way to do business. Ideally, she enjoys working on just a few properties at one time.
